ITINERARY

Day 1: HomestayArrive in Havana, where a private transfer will be waiting for you at the airport exit. Your driver will be holding a sign with your name on it. Take the car and travel from the airport to your casa particular in Havana. Your casa particular will be located either in Havana Vieja (Old Havana) or in Vedado. While Havana Vieja is located right in the middle of the city, Vedado is a more quiet and peaceful corner that is just a 10-minute drive from the centre of the city. You are free for the rest of the day today. Take rest or explore the city on your own. Day 2: HavanaHomestayEnjoy a delicious breakfast at your casa particular and start your Oldtimer & city tour with your English-speaking local guide. Before the tour starts, the guide will give you a short introduction of all the things you can expect when in Cuba. He will also provide you with tips and tricks, allowing you to start the adventure without any worries. With this tour you will see the most interesting places in Havana by old-timer, think of places like the Parque Central, Paseo del Prado, Avenida del Puerto, the rum museum, the train station, Plaza de la Revolución, and the park with the John Lenon statue. During the ride the driver will stop several times, so you will be able to take some pictures. After this ride, a local guide will take you through Havana Vieja Walk through Havana Vieja enjoying all its major highlights. Explore different squares of the city, including Plaza de Armas, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de Catedral. Also travel to the famous shopping street of Calle Obispo as well as to La Bodeguita del Medio (where Hemmingway drank his mojitos), El Templete and El Capitolio. The excursion will last for 3 hours, starting at 09:00 in the morning. You are free to explore Havana on your own for the rest of the day.MEALSBreakfast Day 3: TrinidadHomestayChoose your transport options when booking this trip and travel either by bus or private transfer from Havana to Trinidad. The distance between the two cities is approximately 315km. Trinidad is one of the best preserved colonial cities in Cuba, a living museum whose walls breathe history. It has been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1988. This place was once home to rich sugar barons and infamous pirates. Upon arrival, you can explore the quiet historical centre of this city and stroll past its impressive candy-coloured colonial houses. Relax on the terrace of Las Escalinatas or enjoy a typical cocktail at La Canchanchara.MEALSBreakfast Day 4: TrinidadHomestayTake a Cuban rickshaw (bicitaxi) and weave your way through the suburbs of Trinidad in this Trinidad city tour. This excursion will last for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, starting at 09:00 in the morning. The starting point of this tour will be a location closest to your accommodation. Visit places where Cubans live, work, go to school and play. Travel to a market where you can see stalls that sell fresh fruits, coffee and lemonade made from sugarcane. You have the rest of the day free. If you want to explore the place on your own, we have some locations for you: Beach Península Ancón, María Aguilar, La Boca El Cubano Natural Park, Valle de los Ingenios, Casa de la Trova, La Canchánchara and Las Escalinatas.MEALSBreakfast Day 5: VaraderoHomestayTravel either by bus or private transfer (depending on your choice) to Varadero, located around 267km away from Trinidad. Varadero is considered one of the best beaches in the world and is famous for its white sandy beaches, water sports and nightlife.MEALSBreakfast Day 6: VaraderoHomestayHead for the beach and spend your day soaking in the Caribbean sun.
